Unity park

                            Maximum utilization of resources is Mayor Arlene Zambo's aim in improving the aesthetics and appearance of the city. Improvement of parks and playgrounds is a top on her list.

                            Toledo Unity Park and Playground opened on late July 2006, enhancing the former children's playground. This is now the city's grill station and required the barbeque vendors to sell their wares at this area instead at the side of the city streets, where it is unsanitary and unhealthy.

Toledo City Band Mayor Zambo together with Engr. Jun Zambo and Mrs. Eleuteria Alvez envisioned this place to become a safe place for Toledanos to unwind during early evening or weekends. Toledo City Band regularly performs and welcomes other band performers to entertain audience the barbecue aficionados. Young and adults alike flock to the area and patiently wait for their favorite songs to be performed by the Toledo City Band.

Toledo Unity Park and Playground also serves as the venue  for the flower vendors and the meeting place of leaders discussing matters of their interest, a lover's rendezvous, a family park and maybe a simple place tolet an ordinary night pass by drinking a few bottles of cold beer and meetinnew acquaintances.
