The Department of Agriculture-Region VII enjoins all LGU in the 3rd District including that of Toledo to attend the Information Caravan and
Consultative Forum on the DA'S Thrust and program in the face of challenges of food security and self-suffiency of the country and to share measures the government has been carrying out to stabilize the supply and prices of basic food commodities such as rice and corn. The
said forum shall be attended by City Mayors,Vice-Mayors,Agriculturist,Fishery Council,Irrigator's Association, People's Organization and others concerned.

This will be held on August 29, 2008, whole day  at the Municipality of Balamban. (discussions to follow)
