The celebration of the elderly Filipino week was launched with a parade of the Senior Citizens of Toledo City from different chapters as spearheaded by the CSWDO office & staff with the assistance of the City Health office who initiated the Medical Mission after the parade at the M.A. Barba Sports Complex. It is with the theme: Nakatatanda: Huwaran ng Yaman ng Bayan.

At exactly 1:00 in the afternoon, the City wide launching for the every brgy. is a park will be done and everyone will be outside cleaning the streets, surroundings, greening the environment and  will have to start the beautification in the different schools, barangays and everywhere in the City for the City wide contest "Every Barangay is a Park. This will initiate the program until 2010.

Hon. Governor Gwendolyn Garcia and Vice-Gov. Greg Sanchez and Staff, department heads and the Provincial
Board Members of the Province and staff will conduct their out-of-town session in the City of Toledo come Nov. 10, 2008 ,9:00 a.m.
at the Carmen Copper Clubhouse Bldg., poolside area. All the City officials,  department heads and Barangay captains of this City are enjoined to attend
for a consultation with the Governor. After lunch, the group will conduct a mines tour of carmen Copper. There will also be a

Her honorable Governor Gwendolyn F. Garcia together with Vice-Gov. Greg Sanchez and all the Provincial Board Members and the department Heads of the Provincial Government will conduct their out-of-town session in the City of Toledo. They will be welcomed by the City officials, Barangay Captains and department heads at Carmen Copper Clubhouse poolside area. There will be consultation with barangay captains and department heads.
