The celebration of the elderly Filipino week was launched with a parade of the Senior Citizens of Toledo City from different chapters as spearheaded by the CSWDO office & staff with the assistance of the City Health office who initiated the Medical Mission after the parade at the M.A. Barba Sports Complex. It is with the theme: Nakatatanda: Huwaran ng Yaman ng Bayan.

HINULAWAN FESTIVAL 2008 PHOTO CONTEST

MECHANICS :

1. The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers.

2. Participants may use any Film or Digital Cameras.

3. Photo entries should be unmounted in 5R color prints.

Right after the mardigras, showdown of the Hinulawan Dance will excite the Toledanos which will be performed by the contingents.  Prizes will be at stake for the Grand winners. 

The City also launches the 1st Suroy-Suroy Sugbo which will be headed by our very own city mayor Hon. Arlene " Dydee" Zambo.

Local bands of Toledo City continues to glorify Toledanos as they compete at the Battle of the Bands - Year 3.

A flag raising ceremony at the City Hall of Toledo to commemorate the 110th celebration of Independence Day.  It will be enjoined by all Local and National Offices of the city, NGOs and all private sectors.

Be the first person to witness the premier launching of the Toledo City Hinulawan Festival.  Through the effort of our city mayor, Hon. Arlene "Dydee" Zambo and the Local Government Unit of Toledo, toledanos can now have a festival to be proud of.  Six (6) contingents from different schools in Toledo City will participate in the said mardigras.
