The Festival:
The City of Toledo celebrates its annual thanksgiving in honor of its patron saint, St. John of
Sahagun every 12th day of June, one of the highlights of the 12 day celebration.
Hinulawan is a contraction of two Cebuano words , HIN-from Hinaguan and ULAWAN from BULAWAN.Hinulawan is the old name
of Toledo City.
Four Golden features of the City are highlighted in the festival namely: Golden Harvest,
Golden Friendship, Golden Treasure and Golden faith.
