FIRE PREVENTION MONTH 

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES

February 26, 2007                 - Speaker during Monday morning flag raising ceremony to give ideas why we Celebrate Fire Prevention Month.

                                              Also disseminate information.

February 27-28, 2007             - Posting of streamers to different location within the city including Brgy. DAS bearing this year’s theme

                                             “ PAMBANSANG PAKAKAISA LABAN SA SUNOG”.

March 1, 2007 – 8:00 A.M.       - A Holy Mass held at the apparatus floor of this station attended by all TCFS personnel, TFD members and some of

                                              City Hall employees.
                            
                      9:00 A.M.        - Caravan of firefighting trucks/fire engines together with BFP personnel and all other invited individuals to include

                                               Fire Brigade from TPC, civilian volunteers and other privately owned vehicles.

                      1:00 P.M.          - Open house – Display of firefighting gadgets/apparels at apparatus floor open to the vehicles.

                                             - Start of TV advertisement at Toledo City Cable TV on Fire Safety tips as a reminder for the long-month celebration

                                               to widen dissemination of information.
                                               

TENTATIVE SCHEDULES OF LECTURE/SEMINARS & FIRE DRILLS

           March 10, 2007           – Lecture \/seminar at CEBECO III employees.
           

             March 19, 2007          – Lecture/seminar and Fire Drill at Lingap Center, Ilihan, Toledo City

                                             Toledo Power Station, Sangi beach, TC
                                             Transco., Sigpit, Toledo City
                                             Other establishment and schools/colleges
                                             All personnel & rescue groups were put on “RED ALERT” status
                                             Continuous conduct of Fire Safety Inspection to all types of occupancies to mitigate if not remove fire hazards
                                             Disseminate Fire Safety Tips to Toledanos, to include government agencies
                                             Other activities intended to Fire Safety of Toledanos

              TARGET: ZERO fire incident during Fire Prevention Month and the coming days of the year.
