On June 29, 2009, Toledo LGU will launch its citizens service charter in the City , 1:00 P.M. at the Barba  Sports Complex. This is to be witnessed by department heads and barangay captains of the City together with the City officials and the heads of the Civil Service Commission.

 A  citizens  charter is very significant for the city because it is a clear expression of what services an agency provides. It enables citizens/customers to check their expectations against what is offered and provides a mechanism for giving feedback when expectations are not met. Citizens/government's clients deserve value for money from the taxes and charges they pay, and they have the right to  consultation, courtesy, information and the opportunity to express their views  in relation to government services.
