In celebration of the 439th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Cebu, Toledo will send in the City's entry to the Festival of Festivals at the CICC on Aug.9, 2008, to wit: selection of Toledo dancers will represent the City.

To foster the government services of the City even further, the next Duaw Alagad will be at Brgy.Subayon. Basic services such as medical, dental, "libreng kasal", CSWDO services, pospas feeding by the Ms. Toledo Foundation, selling of NFA rice by City Treasury, camote selling by the City Agriculture and others will be done for the better service of the constituents. This is thru the efforts of our City Mayor and City officials, department heads and all govt. sectors.

Despite distance and  rough road conditions,our City Mayor and City officials fully bring out all the government services to Loas, Matab-ang. There was a warm accommodation from the Barcenas family and the residents as well. There was a medical-dental check-up, pospas feeding, NFA rice distribution and camote as well. Libreng kasal was given by the City Mayor and other services for the benefit of everyone were offerred that day.

Today the culmination of said activity will be at Barba Sports Complex. The theme is 'Kapag may Access, May Success". (Photos to follow)

To further deliver the government services to the people, the next Duaw Alagad will be at Brgy.Biga. There will be NFA rice distribution, camote, pospas feeding, dialogues with the City officials, "libreng kasal", medical, dental services and others.

The third barangay visitation this month will be at Brgy.Sam-ang.Just the same, the City government's services will be brought to the

households, medical and dental services, NFA rice distribution, "pospas feeding",  and others. The City officials will also be there to express genuine support to the activity.

The government is more eager to bring its services and reach as far as Brgy.Loay to give better medical prescriptions,  health,dental services, distribute cheaper NFA  rice, camote, pospas feeding, and other services from diff. departments of the City to the constituents. Vice-Mayor Rudy Espinosa and City officials gave its support to the activity and provide Barangay what they truly deserve being part of the City's mission to uplift the economic conditions of it's people.

on Monday, there will be a Search for Lutopan Idol for interested singers and songbirds sponsored by the Toledo City Government.
