The spectrum blue steel corporation will discuss on the zero waste phils. project through biosphere gasification technology on Sept. 17, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at the SP sESSION hALL.

The annual walk for a cause is set on September 20, 2009 which will benefit the out-of-school youths.  It is with the theme : "Piso ko Palambuon mo, Halad alang nimo" . Every individual and group organizations  will partake in the activity as their charitable walk for a cause. (updates to follow)

Toledo City celebrates heritage month and it will feature the Search for the Oldest Lyrics  and award the winners of the Oldest relics in front of the Toledo City Hall.

The City would like to encourage everyone in the planting of the 50,000 trees at the different designated areas. This is a part of the City's thrust to plant trees in helping the environment and also in its goal to plant a TREE FOR LIFE, in the City's commitment for the 50,000  trees come January 10, 2010 as part of the celebartion of the Toledo City Golden Anniversary.     

The culminating program/ recognition for the Civil Service month activity will be held at the Barba Sports Complex. The following awards will be given to  the winners of the Search for the Most Outstanding employees , Department Best Practices and merit awards. The coordinators are Engr. Jun Zambo, Mr. Edwin Abad, Mrs. Trinidad Bubuli.

Every department is enjoined to go to their respective day care centers and conduct activities which are beneficial to the students and pupils. For the second year, the City is encouraging this project to help augment the conditions of daycares in the City, at the  same time, they can feel the love and care coming from the City.
