In line with the government's basic services & programs, Toledo LGU initiated the "DUAW-ALAGAD" 2008 at different barangays, and for the first time, Barangay Calong-calong receive the benefits and privileges brought forth by the City officials, Department Heads & employees concerned with full cooperation from the Brgy.council of Calong-calong respectively.

There was a program to welcome the City officials in the barangay, so as to conduct also a dialogue-forum with the residents.Aside from that, each City official was made to gave a speech and later on, questions were entertained for their benefit. Among the services given that time, were medical services- giving of free medicines,capsules,vitamins, doctor's consultation, "pospas feeding", NFA rice distribution, camote per kilo distribution,"libreng kasal by the Mayor", social welfare services, distribution of Philhealth cards,giving of gifts to newly-wed couple, surprises to residents who can answer the questions given by the officials, vaccination and others.

The basic program aims to uplift the health,economic and moral status of the residents to be more closer to the government .Likewise,all gratefulness is extended to Barangay Calong-calong.
