July 15, 2008. The City officials spearheaded by Vice-Mayor Rudy Espinosa in lieu of Mayor Zambo's absence due to her sick baby went as far as Brgy. Loay to bring better services to the constituents. All the departments concerned came to give medical prescriptions, dental services, distributed NFA rice, fed "pospas", and offer free vaccination to animals,assessor's services and dialogue with Brgy. officials and constituents.

In line with the government's basic services & programs, Toledo LGU initiated the "DUAW-ALAGAD" 2008 at different barangays, and for the first time, Barangay Calong-calong receive the benefits and privileges brought forth by the City officials, Department Heads & employees concerned with full cooperation from the Brgy.council of Calong-calong respectively.
PNP LED TORCH RELAY RUN
The Phil.National Police (PNP) of Toledo City with the BFP through the able leadership of the new PNP chief, P/Supt. Julian Ceballos Entoma & Fire marshall Randy Mendaros led the Torch Relay Run Towards Genuine Transformation.
The PNP Integrated Transformation Program (ITP) was launched by the PNP NHQS to make the PNP more capable, effective and efficient public servant with its motto: "TO SERVE & PROTECT" .
