Thru the office of DILG officer, Mrs. Gloria D. Pacampara, THE DILG MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2008-152 RE: Observance of
the National Week for Overcoming Extreme Poverty and the United Nations "Stand Up,Take Action Against Poverty
Campaign" would be launched through a massive information drive, with a pledge commitment on the stand up, take action against extreme
poverty campaign., and a prayer on Overcoming  Poverty.

 The Municipality of Aloguinsan in cooperation with Toledo Organized Motorcycle Incorporated (TOMTREK, INC.) will host  a motocross competition,  dubbed as "1st Vice Mayor's Cup  Motocross Competition" will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Barangay Bonbon,  Aloguinsan, Cebu. The said event is sponsored by Alvera Builders, RUSI, V & U Enterprises, Castrol, Imarflex, San Miguel Corporation,  Coca Cola Bottler's Phi., JECABS Motorcycle Parts. 

In adaptation of the GWEN Program and the RUDY project, Toledo LGU presents the "Every Barangay is a Park" to the City.

This year's fellowship night was filled with entertainment, songs, dances, surprises & fun.In gratefulness to the almighty, there was a  Holy Mass to cap the month-long celebration. And afterwards, the registration for all the employees from the Local & National offices began with the assistance of the Civil Service Office. Then, all the groups had dinner at the Barba Complex.
