Hailed from  Toledo City, Cebu,  Jal Joshua started his singing career at an early age.  He became the Singing At The Park Champion 2007 at Toledo City  and  He also bagged the First Place at the Metro Gaisano Child Popstar Singing Search at Cebu City. He was one of guest performers  during the Toledo Charter Day '08 celebration impressing Mayor Arlene Zambo,  guest speaker Gov. Gwendolyn GarciaCity Officials, and his fellow Toledanos.

The national irrigation administration, Cebu Provincial Irrigation office with Toledo  Province & Toledo LGU conducts the Communal Irrigation System on April 14, 2009 at Damsite Cambang-ug of this City.

The concerted efforts in making Toledo City a beautiful and healthier place to live yields some inspiring results.
The monitoring and evaluation Cebu Team of the Provincial Government ranked Toledo City as the 2nd place in the preliminary evaluation of the
E-GWEN program. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources during the MRFC meeting last March 30, 2009 recognized the eforts of Barangay Biga in their clean and green activities.
