Services of the Legal Office

1. Render legal opinion on varied subjects affecting the administrative operation of the City Government;
2. Render free legal consultation services to Barangay Captains & other barangay officials who personally brought their problems to the City Legal Office;
3. Drafting of Contracts and other documents involving the interest of the City, inspect and Pass upon the legality of other instruments already prepared and referred to the City Legal Office;
4. Attend Staff Meetings; Peace and Order Council Meetings; CDC Meeting, Urban Poor Meeting, Acquisition & Appraisal Committee Meetings, Market Committee Meeting & Bids and Awards Committee Meetings;
5. Appeared as Counsel for the City in Land Registration Cases and also for City & Barangay Officials who have cases in the Regional Trial Courts, Municipal Trial Courts, and Prosecutor’s Office of the Ombudsman.
